We need Biafra, not in light of awful roads, nor Igbo Presidency – MASSOB
BY UGOCHUKWU ALARIBE
ABA – Factional pioneer of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Comrade Uchenna Madu has said no measure of weight from any quarter would make his gathering and other professional Biafra gathering to stop their battle for the realization of an autonomous condition of Biafra.
Madu, in a meeting with writers in Aba, on Saturday, said the unsettling for the sovereign condition of Biafra has made considerable progress and that star Biafra gatherings would not yield until their fantasy is realized.
Asked whether the gathering would yield in its unsettling now that it shows up the government has begun tending to a portion of the infrastructural rot in the south East, the MASSOB pioneer stated, "We can't stop, we have passed that point. A few people feel that the tumult for the Sovereign State of Biafra was a direct result of underestimation or infrastructural rot in the Eastern district. No. We have passed that.
"We need Biafra, not on account of our streets are terrible, not on the grounds that Igbo man has not turned into the President of the nation, Nigeria. We need Biafra not as a result of carelessness of our range, but rather we need Biafra in light of the fact that we are Biafrans; we are made Biafrans and we need to display it in all awareness of other's expectations. We need to reestablish the old kingdom of Biafra in a manner of speaking before the 1914 amalgamation of Northern and Southern Protectorate.
"Our kin have passed on not due to Igbo Presidency, in view of Biafra and the general population that were murdered in Aba and numerous different parts of Nigeria were being executed as a result of Biafra. They were not killed as a result of the awful streets in the South East, second Niger Bridge or Igbo Presidency or rot in foundation; on the off chance that they like, let the government settle everything overnight, it won't make us to stop. We have come to at the final turning point, it is extremely unlikely we can backpedal in the battle for Biafra."
He revealed that his collective choice's to move its regulatory base camp out of Okwe, Imo State and permit his previous manager, Ralph Uwazuruike access to his dad's compound, was a consistent assention by all the significant partners of MASSOB, focusing on that the decision for Enugu was likewise for managerial comfort and the centrality as the capital of Biafra.
"We chose to permit Uwazuruike to come back to his dad's home, this is three years that he has been in a state of banishment. We would prefer not to confine or detach ourselves in a specific place. The organization of MASSOB or Biafra shouldn't be in some individual's home or town, so we chose to leave that place and permit him to return. We have lifted the boycott and pardoned him (Ralph Uwazuruike) in the soul of Biafra. We can't keep on keeping feelings of resentment. We have given his matter over to the progenitors (Chukwu Okike Abiama) to deal with him. We can't keep on playing god. Give god a chance to choose his case, so that we also can proceed onward.
"The substance of the entire thing is that, we are hoping to assume control Biafra arrive soon and we have migrated to Enugu which is Biafran Capital where we will work from. Enugu which is the capital of Biafra and we don't have to work from Okwe," he said
